As we enter Christmas 2016 we also enter the release of the latest Star Wars movie of 2016 called “Rogue One”. I will have to see it, as I have seen the others.

Last year I was in Germany at Christmastide and Nils Hildebrandt, my nephew asked me to paint him a Star Wars image for his room.  I looked at various iconic pictures and settled on the scene below and added a few features. The dramatic nature of the action, even in darkest space also allows us watercolours painters to express an impact…. well I hope you agree.  Credit should be given to the design artist of the original graphic. This is my version and interpretation. Have a happy Xmas.
